MGCCC’s School and Nursing and Health designated a 2025 Center of Excellence
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s School of Nursing and Health Professions has been designated a 2025 Center of Excellence.
The honor was designated to the school by the National League for Nursing and MGCCC was one of only 21 institutions nationwide selected.
Formal recognition will be taking place at the League of Nursing’s Education Summit on September 19.
The designation acknowledges MGCCC’s excellence in enhancing student learning and professional development.
Associate Vice President of the School of Nursing Teresa McDonald says the recognition reflects the commitment of faculty, staff, and students.
She says those at MGCCC strive to elevate the programs to meet the need of the healthcare industry.
McDonald also says the school fosters an environment where students can grow into skilled professionals.
