Three injured in Sunday morning shooting in George County

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The investigation continues into a weekend shooting in George County in which three people were injured.

Sheriff’s officials say it happened around 12:30 Sunday morning in the 100 block of Mount Rose Circle.

Two of the victims in the shooting suffered gunshot wounds and all three people were taken to George Regional Hospital, where they are currently listed in stable condition.

There is no word on any suspect at this time, but investigators are still conducting interviews and collecting evidence from the scene.
