37th annual OLG Crab Fest Preview
If you are looking for some fun this Fourth of July Weekend, head down to Bay St. Louis for the 37th annual OLG Crab Fest.
The annual crab festival is put on each year by Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church to help raise money for the church.
Festival-goers pack the OLG Grounds to enjoy numerous vendors, carnival rides, live music, boiled crabs and seafood during the three-day event.
Jimmy Osbourn, chairperson for the annual OLG Crab Fest, tells News 25 this is a great festival to bring the community together. “For a lack of a better term, this would be the Disney World for a lot of people to come out and see us and have a great time, have kids on the rides, listen to great music. Thirty-seven years we have done this. The community supports us. We support the community in many ways and the festival itself supports the church and a lot of things that go on inside the youth organization, our church, our needy people, it’s a great event for a great cause.”
The festival will begin Thursday at 11 a.m. each day and end on Saturday at 11 p.m.
