USM Center for Fisheries and Development teams up with MS Aquarium for Shark Weekend

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-The Mississippi Aquarium is teaming up with the University of Southern Mississippi Center for Fisheries and Research Development for Shark Weekend.

Shark Weekend takes place Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27 at the Mississippi Aquarium.

Visitors to the aquarium will have the chance to visit interactive stations to learn fun facts about sharks, explore shark research conducted by Usm, and learn more about the shark species that live in Mississippi’s coastal waters.

The Center for Fisheries and Research Development Center teams up with Mississippi Aquarium every year since the aquarium opened.

The Shark Weekend fun at the Mississippi Aquarium is included with a general admission ticket.
