Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo wraps up
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Another Mississippi Gulf Coast tradition wrapped up on Sunday in Gulfport.
We’re talking about the 77th edition of the Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo.
Since Thursday, teams have been coming and going between the waters of the Mississippi Sound and Gulfport Harbor to bring in their big catches.
Barksdale Pavilion has also seen a flurry of activity since that time with families attending the fair, listening to music, and watching as anglers bring their big hauls back in for measuring and weighing.
