Hattiesburg Zoo accepting applications for Junior Volunteer Program

Hattiesburg, Miss. (WXXV)- The Hattiesburg Zoo is calling all animal lovers for a special program.

Anyone between the ages of 13 and 15 can apply for the zoo’s Junior Volunteer Program.

The next orientation and onboarding session is scheduled for July 19th, that happening from 9:30 AM until 1 PM.

Junior volunteers will serve as habitat hosts, share animal facts and names, create enrichment activities, assist with animal interactions and engage guests in conservation education.
