Lucedale hosts their Oath of Office ceremony

Lucedale, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Lucedale hosted an Oath of Office ceremony on Monday. Mayor Al Jones and First Lady Mel Jones were honored.

Also honored were the aldermen and alderwomen, those including Clay Wedgeworth, Carrie Moulds, Carol Howell, Brittany Green and Ken Holland.

The ceremony was held at First Baptist Church of Lucedale.

Each of those taking the oath were even given a cake of their own.

Food and desserts were also provided to all who came out.

The term for these officials are expected to run to 2029.
