Upgrades coming to Miramar Park in City of Biloxi
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- A $45,000 renovation project to Miramar Park in Biloxi is currently underway to replace the aging playground structure installed after Hurricane Katrina.
Crews have initiated demolition to make way for a brand-new play structure and shade canopy.
Miramar Park in Biloxi is temporarily closed for work. Signage indicates it will reopen once the new equipment and shaded area are installed.
The park offers picnic tables, benches, sand play areas, and scenic coastal views, all of which will be enhanced by these upgrades.
These enhancements are part of a broader city effort to revitalize local parks and boost the quality of life for both residents and visitors.
Expect a more modern, refreshed, accessible, and safer environment for families and beachgoers.
While a firm reopening date hasn’t been released yet, the work is expected to wrap up around the end of July.
