Railroad Crossing improvement work continues in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- A reminder that a railroad crossing closure in Long Beach is in effect.

Crews are working on leveling Cleveland Avenue and rerouting the drainage ditch there.

The Cleveland Avenue Railroad Crossing is closed during the daytime hours this week. The eastbound and westbound lanes on Railroad Street will remain open during this time.

The Cleveland Avenue crossing will reopen in the evenings once work is done for the day and the work is expected to continue throughout the rest of this week.
