Biloxi four-star offensive tackle Hayden Ainsworth announces commitment to Nebraska!
We start off this Monday at Biloxi high school as the four-star offensive tackle Hayden Ainsworth reveals where he’s calling home in 2026. Proud friends, family and teammates gathered at Biloxi high school to celebrate the commitment announcement of the highly recruited offensive tackle
Exactly one week after his official visit, Ainsworth knew he wanted to suit up with Nebraska and play for Head Coach Matt Rhule.
“Coach Rhule is a very personable guy. He’s very down to Earth. I’ve never met a head coach I could just talk to and I think he’s just my friend. It was a really big difference for sure,” said Nebraska commit Hayden Ainsworth. “That’s what sold it for me, the unity that they have there, the standard that their setting for me. I know people say that they haven’t run prior and stuff like that, the team that they’re building right now, O-Line heavy first, stuff like that, I knew that’s what I wanted to be a part of.
With at least 20 offers and several visits later, Ainsworth chose to end his recruitment with the Cornhuskers in July to shift the focus on his team and their goal of a state championship.
“I want to make sure that I’m giving my full effort to Biloxi High School this year,” Ainsworth said. “I don’t want to walk away with anything less than a ring, I want a ring on my finger with this team and I’m doing everything possible to help them out and they’re doing to help me out. This is not just a me process, this is an everybody process, and I wouldn’t be where I am today like I said over there if it wasn’t for these guys. So they’re leading me down the right path, I hope I’m doing the same thing.”
Congratulations Hayden, and we cannot wait to see what you’ll accomplish in the years to come!
