GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Anglers competing in the Mississippi Open Fishing Tournament on the Coast started arriving Thursday.
From Cat and Ship Island to Fort Massachusetts and everywhere in between, this year’s field takes their shot reeling in the winning catch.
The record for Gulf Blue Marlin has been held in Mississippi for two decades now. So, it’s safe to say the stakes are high on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The Mississippi Open will run through Saturday, June 14.
