State notifies City of Ocean Springs Hanshaw Road Bridge can reopen

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Ocean Springs was notified Wednesday by the state that Hanshaw Bridge can be reopened.

The city will start work to remove the barricades on Wednesday afternoon.

Over the next few weeks, the utilities still must be installed/ reattached to the sides of the bridge.

This work will require single-lane closures during the process. Another notice will be issued once the bridge is open.
