William Carey University Athletics recognized as a Top 5 NAIA Athletic Department

We’ve got some exciting news for William Carey Athletics! The Crusader athletic department was recently recognized as one of the top five departments in the NAIA for the 2024-2025 season! This is the second year in a row that William Carey University posted a top five finish in the Learfield Cup Standings.

This comes on the heels of being named the top athletic program in the Southern States Athletic Conference for the ninth consecutive year. The highest scoring teams for each season include men’s soccer, men’s swimming and men’s indoor track and field, and finally men’s and women’s track and field.
