City officials break ground on new Bark Park in Orange Grove

Gulfport, Miss. (WXXV)- A new dog park is coming to the City of Gulfport.

The facility is located at Goldin Park in the Orange Grove community, just off Prudie Circle.

The Bark Park is designed for dogs and their owners to have a safe and off-leash recreation spot.

The grounds will include fenced areas and water stations for dogs and their humans alike.

City officials were on hand, including special four-legged guests. That including Gulfport Fire Department’s Toggle and an adoptable friend from the Humane Society.

The Bark Park is expected to be finished later this year.
