William Carey University President Dr. Ben Burnett gives presentation on the Coast

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- William Carey University President Dr. Ben Burnett made his way to the Coast Thursday to give a presentation.

Dr. Burnett was discussing higher education in the Pine Belt region and on the Gulf Coast. He shared the numbers from the school year, saying the school saw a 42 percent increase in first-time freshmen as well as a 101 percent increase in transfer students.

An important thing to note is the Tradition Campus is expected to add new dormitory spaces.
