Mayor elect lays out plan for Moss Point

Moss Point Mayor Elect Mario King says his overall hope is to rejuvenate his city.
Today when the mayor-to-be stopped by WXXV to lay out his game plan for the future of the River City, he says he wants to see better education for students and the population increase. He also wants the budget to be in a place where infrastructure improvements can also be a main priority.
After embezzlement within the city and controversy surrounding the police department, King says he plans to be as transparent as possible and hopes his transition will be a smooth one.
When asked about being a younger mayor at just 30-years-old, he says he hopes his constituents will focus on his education and professionalism instead of age.
