One Dead In Car Crash

A woman is dead after a car crash on Highway 49 in Gulfport Sunday afternoon.

Police say a SUV traveling south ran a red-light and hit a mustang going east at the Highway 53 intersection.
The driver of the mustang 65 year-old Scotty Barfield was taken to the hospital where she later died.
A one-year-old was also in the car with Barfield and didn’t face any serious injuries.
