Volunteers team up with Beau Rivage, Biloxi Shuckers for beach cleanup

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The Beau Rivage and Biloxi Shuckers invited volunteers and joined together in celebrating Earth Day by giving back to the community.

There were almost 100 volunteers combined and more than 60 people from the Beau Rivage.

This was a family friendly event where team members even invited their own friends and family to help clean up the beach and support.

Players from the Biloxi Shuckers also took the time out to get their hands dirty and connect with the community.

There was an estimated 250 pounds of trashed clean up off the beach!
