MDMR conducts prescribed burn at Charnley-Norwood House

Ocean Springs, Miss. (WXXV)- The Department of Marine Resources’ burn crew conducted a prescribed burn at the Charnley-Norwood House on Wednesday.

That house being located on East Beach.

Officials with MDMR saying the burn will aid in removal of invasive species, improve soil conditions, and promote native plant growth.
