John Travolta filming “Cash Out 3” in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss (WXXV) -The streets of Ocean Springs were buzzing with excitement as a new movie was being filmed.

Production has just wrapped Ocean Springs for John Travolta ‘s 3rd installment of “Cash Out.”

“Cash Out” is a thriller starring John Travolta where he plays a man named Danny, who is caught up in a dangerous situation after being forced to rob a bank. When the heist goes wrong, Danny must navigate his way through the criminal underworld while protecting his family.

While filming, Travolta was spotted walking up and down Washington Avenue delivering lines from his new movie, giving businesses a face to face opportunity with the movie star.

Eva Pund, the marketing director of Ocean Springs Mercantile, says, “John Travolta walked by several times cause they did a few takes. We were basically front row. He said hello to us, he was very kind, asked us how we’re doing and he said we have a very beautiful shop”

The Leather and Pearls owner says the experience would make her momma proud. Alma White says, “I’m thinking mostly of my mother because she was like the hugest fan. I’m a huge fan too. but my mother and I used to watch him together and so from heaven I’m going “mom, mom can you believe this?”

Alma White found out the night before that Travolta would be using her shop as his green room, that’s thanks to Josh, the location manager for John Travolta’s team. “He came in and he actually told me I picked your store out of every store from here to Alabama cause they went to Fairhope as well and they decided on Ocean Springs. I said come on in I am very interested and yes we would love to do that.”

She was also impressed by how efficient the process was. “I’m amazed at everything that happened today. It was unbelievable, the professionalism of the business they do I mean they’re bam bam bam woom woom woom and they get it done and then they fly away. I mean it is, it’s incredible. It was an experience of a lifetime and Leather and Pearls is so excited to have hosted this event.”

“Cash Out 3” is slated to be released in 2026.
