Ocean Springs mayoral election results are in

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)-The votes are in for the City of Ocean Springs mayoral primary.

The unofficial results are in and Bobby Cox Jr. earned 3,238 of the votes. Incumbent Mayor Kenny Holloway received 708 of the votes.  Jon Hitchcock received 309 of the votes. Dennis McGrevey received 139 of the votes.

According to unofficial results, Cox Jr. wins the primary and will be the new mayor of Ocean Springs, since no Democrat or Independent filed for the general election.
