Woman hospitalized after accident in Moss Point

A Moss Point woman is in serious condition after her car slid off the road and crashes into a tree today.
According to Moss Point Police Chief Calvin Hutchins, officers and Acadian Ambulance responded to a single vehicle accident on I-10 near mile marker 71. Hutchins says Jessica Moore was traveling east bound in her 2002 Ford Explorer when she likely hydroplaned on the wet road and collided into several trees. The jaws of life were used to get her from the vehicle and she was airlifted to USA Hospital in Mobile.
Moore was wearing her seat belt.
