Construction begins on Legacy Park in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The Legacy Park Project in Jackson County is underway, promising valuable medical resources for the community.

Construction has begun on the mixed-use medical project that will turn this lot off of Highway 57 into a one-stop shop medical park for Jackson County residents.

The grounds will include an endoscopy center, a cardiac surgery center, a vascular center, and other medical offices.

One of the developers of the Legacy Park Project Dr. Sati Adlakha says he’s excited about the construction process and happy the project didn’t have to stray from their initial plans.

They are currently in phase one of the construction process which will focus on medical buildings and some retail stores. They are hoping to complete this phase in 18 to 24 months.
