Harrison Central Baseball Signing Day: Jeremiah Farmer and Tyler Piper

Two Harrison Central baseball standouts are taking their talents to the next level.

This afternoon, both Jeremiah Farmer and Tyler Piper signed National Letters of Intent to continue their careers on the diamond.

Farmer put pen to paper with Mississippi Delta and Piper with Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

Just two weeks removed from the end of their playoff run, the Red Rebel duo is now ready to represent the program as two of six seniors working 110 percent for that 10 percent opportunity. Farmer said, “Just always work hard. Ever since I’ve been here, always work hard. With everything I do, just put my all into it. Give 110 percent”

Piper said, “Honestly, I’m just letting God take me where he wants me to go. If you do what he’s asking, he’ll take you far. He’ll take you down roads you don’t think is going to happen, so honestly just trusting God and you’ll make it anywhere. But we’ve all grown up. We were all really good when we were little kids, so I expect at least one or two of them to come and sign somewhere too.”

Head Coach Neil Frederic says this signing day class is extra special to him because it is the first group he started with when he took the head coaching job.
