Coast Electric crews assisting after storm

Early Sunday, Coast Electric crews from their Poplarville office left for Columbia, Mississippi to assist their sister co-op Pearl River Valley Electric.

Significant progress has already been made with storm restoration, but with more than 100 broken poles they still have some work ahead of them.

Coast Electric says fixing just one pole takes a while so they anticipate crews will finish up and return home later this week.
