Women of Wisdom meeting set for June 9th

It’s been a while since a South Mississippi group of women of faith have met, but it won’t be long before the Women of Wisdom group launch their in-person gatherings again.

June 9th, W.O.W. will once again be hosting their free luncheons aimed at providing one gathering place for dedicated and talented women of influence from all backgrounds to help create an atmosphere of love and connectivity where women feel empowered, encouraged, equipped and energized.

W.O.W will host a luncheon at its new location at the Knight Non-Profit Center in Gulfport where women in need can also get a helping hand thanks to a new program started by W.O.W. President and Founder Robin Killeen said, “We started a W.O.W. Care Closet. That’s to help women in our community who are in need. They are either starting work, interviewing or re-entering the work place, and they simply don’t have anything to wear. We have lots of clothes in lots of different sizes.”

The next meeting is set for June 9th from noon to 1 p.m. at the Knight Non-Profit Center in Gulfport. Everyone is invited to attend this free event. If you’d like a meal at the luncheon, it will cost $10.
