St. Patrick’s Day events announce schedule changes due to potential weather

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI- (WXXV)-Due to the possibility of severe weather on Saturday, St. Patrick’s Day events planned for March 15th are announcing schedule changes.

In Biloxi, the Hibernia Irish Society’s St. Patrick’s Day parade will roll at noon. All other festivities scheduled with the parade are still set to occur.

The Clovers and Kilts Fest in Biloxi is also seeing a change. The new time is set for 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 16th at the Biloxi Town Green.

In Waveland, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is being moved to Sunday, March 16th at 2 p.m. The route remains the same.

The Krewe of Blarney St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Pass Christian is also being rescheduled. The parade will now roll on Sunday, March 16th at 1 p.m. The route will be the same.

In Pascagoula, the parade will roll at 7:30 p.m. The shop and bar crawl will happen as planned, however, the live music from One Accord is canceled due to the potential weather.
