Results of April 27 primary runoffs

Here are the results of the primary runoffs in each of the cities that had contested races. The general election in June 8.

BILOXI

Mayor

FoFo Gilich is unopposed.

Ward 1

Keith Anderson (R) will face George Lawrence (D) on June 8

Ward 2

Felix Gines (D) will face Tracey Smith (I) on June 8

Ward 5

Paul Tisdale (R) will face Sugar Stallings (D) on June 8

 

BAY ST. LOUIS

Mayor

Mike Favre was unopposed

Ward 2

Eugene “Gene” Hoffman IV will face Wendy McDonald on June 8

 

D’IBERVILLE

Mayor

Rusty Quave was unopposed

Ward 3

Craig “Boots” Diaz will face Crystal Wingo on June 8

Ward 4

Gerald Burdine defeated Travis Burke in the runoff. There are no challengers in the primary.

At-large

Joey Bosarge faces Quentin Lyles on June 8.

 

GAUTIER

Mayor

Phil Torjusen will face Casey Vaughan on June 8

 

GULFPORT

Mayor

Billy Hewes (R) faces Howard Page (D) on June 8

Ward 4

Rusty Walker defeated Derek Bullock in in the runoff. There are no challengers in the primary.

Ward 7

Richard Kosloski defeated incumbent Cara Pucheu in the runoff. There are no challengers in the primary.

 

LONG BEACH

Mayor

George Bass won the primary and is unopposed in the general.

Ward 6

Pete McGoey defeated Owen McNally in the runoff. There is no challenger in the primary.

 

MOSS POINT

Mayor

Billy Knight (D) defeated Rep. Jeramey Anderson in the runoff. He will face Howard Bailey and Richard McBride on June 8

At-Large

David Chapman will face Jason Jackson on June 8

Ward 3

Timothy DuBose defeated Jimmy Wilson Jr. in the runoff. There are no challengers in the general.

Ward 6

Gerald E Jackson Sr. will face Gary Wayne Lennep on June 8

 

OCEAN SPRINGS

Mayor

Kenny Holloway defeated Melanie Allen in the runoff. There are no challengers in the general election.

Ward 1

Jennifer Burgess (R) will face Greg Gipson (Ind) and Brandon Riches (D) on June 8

Ward 3

Kevin Wade defeated Doug Walker Wineki in the runoff. There is no challenge in the general.

Ward 4

Ken Papania (R) will face Elizabeth Feder-Hosey (Ind)  on June 8

At-large

Bobby Cox (R) will face Matt Stebly (Ind) on June 8

Jim Rafferty wins primary
