PRCC Baseball/Biloxi High alum Nick Skaggs commits to South Alabama

Today, Pearl River baseball standout Nick Skaggs gave his verbal pledge to South Alabama with just four regular season games left to go in his redshirt sophomore season.

That makes the former Biloxi Indian the 13th Wildcat to sign with a four-year school, joining West Harrison alums Tate Parker and Kasey Donaldson with the Jaguars.

Skaggs is perhaps the most versatile player for third-ranked PRCC with outfield, catching, and pitching designation on the roster.

This season, he’s batting .343 with two homers, six doubles, 25 runs scored, 17 runs batted in, and nine stolen bases across 70 plate appearances.
