Movers and Mom: Two Men and a Truck
Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and in honor of the holiday, Two Men and a Truck is once again collecting donations to help moms here on the Coast.
As a part of the company’s national campaign ‘Movers and Moms,’ Two Men and a Truck is looking for items to help moms in need when caring for their little ones.
Some of the requested items include baby diapers, specifically sizes five and six, towels, pillows, blankets, and anything that makes a mom feel more comfortable.
All donations will be brought to the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence and be distributed to mothers in the community. Sales and Marketing Manager Emily Sham said, “When you’re beat down a little, you know from kiddos, you love them so much, but you just kinda want some you time and you want a nice pillow to sleep on or some fuzzy sleepers. So those are some of the items we’re asking for for these moms. And even with these moms that are in need of certain items for their babies– maybe they just had a baby and they need diapers and wipes, just very basic things, but that goes a long way and makes them feel really good.”
Due to COVID-19, the only drop off site this year is the Two Men and a Truck Office in Gulfport on Tennessee Avenue. All donations are being accepted until the Friday before Mother’s Day, May 7th.
