Railroad Crossing Project delayed in Long Beach
The City of Long Beach announced a change in the railroad crossing project.
According to the city, CSX has temporarily paused the railroad crossing project due to a shortage of CSX flagmen that can coordinate with the trains.
CSX was involved in pre-construction meetings and the city says the delay is now out of the city’s control.
Work is now on hold and Moran Hauling has demobilized. Railroad Street is now reopen to traffic.
Depending on CSX’s availability, this project could be delayed for a month or longer.
