Disney’s Animal Kingdom welcomes baby mandrill

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating the circle of life with a new monkey.

This baby mandrill, named Ivy, was born April 10th. She weighs less than two pounds.

Despite being born so small, mandrills are actually the largest species of monkey.

Disney says both ivy and first-time mom Hazel are healthy and bonding.

The infant should start walking in a few weeks.
