Semi rollover, car wreck causing major delays on I-10 in Jackson County near Pascagoula River Bridge

8:27 A.M. TRAFFIC UPDATE:

Two accidents are causing major traffic delays on Interstate 10 in Jackson County near the Pascagoula River Bridge.

One wreck is in the eastbound lanes of I-10 just before Moss Point/Pascagoula Exit 68 — just east of the Pascagoula River Bridge.

Work crews are in the process of clearing a semi-truck rollover wreck near Mile Marker 66. The semi was hauling oil products that spilled onto the roadway.

Another wreck is being reported in the eastbound lanes of I-10, on the west side of the Pascagoula River Bridge near ramp Vancleave/Gautier Exit 57.

Officials say the delays are expected to last more than one hour, and motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
