Whiskey Barrel in Bay St. Louis holds events for frontline workers

A Coast performance and event venue paid tribute to frontline workers ahead of its grand opening Saturday with a special night exclusively for those who have not only served South Mississippi during the COVID pandemic, but are always there to help.

The Whiskey Barrel held a soft opening tonight for all frontline workers from firefighters to teachers to nurses.

Frontline workers got in for free, drinks were discounted, and there was live music by ‘Failure to Appear.’

Owner Brandon Necaise, a fire fighter himself, wanted to have a night dedicated to front line workers because he believes they’re the backbone of America.

Tomorrow night, the Whiskey Barrel is holding its grand opening and everyone is invited. “It’s going to be a great night. I’m used to the off-road world coming into a bar scene, selling out our first big show. It’s really awesome and it’s, I’m at a loss of words on how the people support everything that I do out here.”
