George Roberts celebrates his 104th birthday!

One coast resident is turning an impressive 104 years old!

George Roberts was born on March 1, 1921.

Residents and family arrived at Greenbriar Nursing Home to help him celebrate.

As if that isn’t an impressive age, Roberts also served in the military.

Roberts served in World War II on a bomber, flying a total of 31 missions over Germany.

Get this, his plane was even christened by Queen Elizabeth II when she was still a princess.

When he came home from the war, he raised a total of 9 kids.

Roberts gave a speech during his celebration as well.

“I made many friends here. It’s almost like a second home to me. This room that you’re in right now is particularly sensitive to me. I can look around and say I fixed those,” said Roberts. “I go down the hall and say hello to almost every other person. Somebody asked do you know him? I say no, he said hello so I said hello.”

Roberts also takes pride in coaching Little League Baseball, saying some players still know him as coach.
