Picayune High celebrates first e-sports signee in program history

Picayune High School had the honor of celebrating the first ever esports signee Friday morning with Jaxon Hunter.

Hunter is a member of the high school’s NBA 2K Esports team, already claiming one state championship in the Fall 2024 season.

He is undefeated and working to earn back-to-back MHSAA state titles in NBA 2K.

Hunter will be furthering his Esports career at Pearl River Community College, also being the first signee in program history.
