Country Music icon Lloyd Green honored with trail marker
A marker for country music icon Lloyd Green was unveiled at the University of Southern Mississippi’s Hattiesburg campus.
Green was born in Leaf, Mississippi. He attended Southern Miss where he refined his musical talent before launching his career.
His career spanned more than 50 years, contributing an amazing 116 number one hits. He not only worked in country, he collaborated with Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan.
