Play of the Day: Gulf Coast reunion in Athens
WXXV Play of the Day goes to a pair of former high school softball standouts from right here on the Coast.
On Saturday, Virginia took on South Alabama as a part of Georgia’s 14th annual Red and Black Showcase which featured a Coastie reunion between class of 2019 Ocean Springs alum Mikaila Fox and class of 2016 St. Martin alum Katelyn Gruich.
Fox scored a run and Gruich got a hit in what was a 9-4 win for the Cavaliers.
