4/14 – Rob’s “Soggy Thursday” Forecast

As a stationary front to the south continues to undulate over the northern Gulf/sound…another round of HEAVY RAIN is expected through today. With a VERY SATURATED ground, FLASH FLOODING will be the main threat today outside of the heavy rain. Outside of the rain, SMALL HAIL is also a possibility through this afternoon…but mostly north of the Hattiesburg area. The rain will tapper-off late afternoon with isolated activity tonight. Rainy conditions will continue through Friday afternoon/evening before the boundary begins to shift east. Drier conditions will move in for the weekend along with BREEZY conditions on Sunday.
