Pascagoula-Gautier School District students compete in MRE cooking competition

Students from the Pascagoula-Gautier School District brought home a big win from a state competition!

First-year culinary students from the college and career technical institute took part in the Mississippi National Guard’s State MRE Cook Off.

The students placed fourth overall, but did win the ‘Best Dessert’ Award.

In total, the chefs were tasked with making an appetizer, entrée, and dessert with an MRE in 70 minutes.
