Jackson County offering free youth fishing classes

Jackson County and Gulf Islands is hosting free youth fishing classes in March.

The classes start the second Saturday of March, but registration is required.

Each class is limited to 15 students aged 8 to 13, the QR code to register can be found at the top of this page.

Each session will run from 9 to 11:30 AM every Saturday.

Loaner equipment will be available and bait will be provided at no charge, but students must be accompanied by an adult.
