Gulfport Ward 5 Special Election Preview

With the Ward 5 Special Election upon us many residents of the district are still unsure when and where to vote.

All the action starts on Tuesday, February 18th with the voting window open from 7am to 7pm.

There will be two in-person voting locations with Precinct 5A located at Fire Station 10 off Dedeaux Road and Precinct 5B located at the Handsboro Community Center off Switzer Road.

Now that you know where to vote you need to know who to vote for. There are three candidates for the special election being Holly S. Gibbs, Don Harden, and BJ Sellers.

With three candidates a runoff election is likely. If there is a runoff election it will be held on Tuesday, March 11th with the same times and locations as the special election.
