Former Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart touches on his relationship with the Manning family

The 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl continued on Tuesday with day two of practices. Former Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart continues to turn heads with his performances.

By now everyone knows that Jaxson Dart attended Ole Miss and was the starting quarterback for the Rebels. What some may not know is that NFL Hall of Fame finalist Eli Manning was once in the same position. Earlier this season, Dart broke Manning’s record for career passing yards. Dart says that the Manning family, including Eli’s father Archie who played the position for the Rebels from 1968-1970, has been in his corner from day one.

“I would say that the closest I got was with Archie,” Dart said. “Eli has been great with me as well. They reached out to me consistently throughout the season. It was really ever week. Being able to communicate with them has been, like I said, a huge asset. They just know so much. They have so much experience, so much wisdom, so I have been blessed to kind of be under their wing.”
