Accused Of Leaving 4-year Old In Car

A 27-year old man has been accused of leaving a 4-year old child alone in a vehicle in the parking lot for 30 minutes while he went inside Baton Rouge’s Hollywood Casino.

Security footage shows “Quavis D. Grant” walking the casino floor while the child sat inside the vehicle with the windows rolled up.

The report says security guards retrieved the child and confronted grant as he walked out of the casino.

Police say grant told security guards he only went inside to use the restroom.

A police officer notes in the report that the vehicle was parked in a stop where there are no barriers to prevent a person from falling into the nearby Mississippi river.
