Most city bridges in Biloxi remain closed

The City of Biloxi has announced that city bridges remain closed due to the weather.

In an alert sent out, the city says that there is black ice on the roads and the bridges will remain closed.

An update posted at 12:42 p.m. said Popps Ferry Bridge had re-opened to traffic.

The city posted about 1:15 p.m. that Cedar Lake bridge had re-opened to traffic.

The Interstate 110 on and off ramps at Highway 90 remain closed and hazardous driving conditions are still in effect.

Drivers should avoid traveling on roadways if possible.
