Updated city office closures announced because of winter weather
Cities along the Coast are announcing schedule changes due to the winter weather we experienced. Here’s what you need to know:
Bay St. Louis — All non-essential city offices will remain closed through Thursday, January 23, 2025.
Biloxi — All non-emergency city offices are closed Tuesday and Wednesday and will re-open Thursday. City Council meeting rescheduled to 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Diamondhead –City Hall will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 23rd. The city council meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, January 27th at 6:00pm.
D’Iberville — City of D’Iberville city offices will remain closed Wednesday, January 22nd due to inclement weather conditions. City Offices will reopen Thursday, January 23rd at 8am. City Council Meeting will be rescheduled to Thursday, January 23rd at 6pm.
Gautier — All non-emergency city offices are closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. City Council meeting will be held remotely. Live stream will not be available.
Gulfport — The City of Gulfport’s administrative closure has been extended to Thursday, Jan. 23, at 10:00 a.m. During this time, only first responders and emergency operations personnel will remain active to ensure public safety. Non-essential city offices will remain closed.
Long Beach — Long Beach offices will remain closed tomorrow. However, the Long Beach Board of Aldermen meeting will still take place at 3:00 PM as scheduled.
Moss Point — City administration offices will be closed on Thursday, January 23, 2025, due to these conditions. They will reopen and resume normal operations on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.
Ocean Springs — All non-emergency city offices are closed Tuesday and Wednesday and will re-open Thursday. Board of Aldermen meeting will go on as scheduled for 6 p.m.
Pascagoula — All non-emergency city offices are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. City Council meeting will be held via conference call.
Pass Christian — All non-emergency city offices are closed Tuesday and Wednesday and will re-open on Thursday.
Waveland — All non-emergency city offices are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. City Council meeting rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, January 27th.
