Mayor Kenny Holloway announces bid for re-election in Ocean Springs
Ocean Springs Mayor Kenny Holloway announced his intention to seek re-election Monday night.
The first-term mayor said Ocean Springs is “truly a shining example of what a thriving community can look like — and it’s being recognized far and wide.
“Everywhere I go, I hear the same thing: people love Ocean Springs. What was once a hidden gem is now a model city, setting the standard not just for our region, but for the entire state.”
Holloway won the election for his first term in June 2021, taking office in July.
“Ocean Springs deserves more than focusing solely on appeasing the loudest voices. We can’t afford to go back to the days of the ‘good ol’ boys’ system or focus on surface-level issues. What we need is a mayor who has a clear vision for the future, someone who can guide us as we grow, while maintaining the unique charm that makes this city so special.”
