Shuckers beat the Lookouts 4-0
The Biloxi Shuckers start off the 2016 season with a hard-hitting win over the Chattanooga Lookouts, winning 4-0 during their opening day game at MGM Park. The Shuckers came out strong, scoring three of those four points in the first inning.
Shuckers pitcher, Josh Hader, started the 2016 season with a backward k – and continued to impress throughout the night. Players tell News 25 they owe each win to the fans who show up to support them game after game.
“We have a lot of fans and they’re definitely rooting for us and that’s a good feeling,” says #27 Jacob Nottingham. “That helps us go a long ways.”
The Shuckers will play game two against the Lookouts tomorrow night at MGM Park. First pitch is set for 7:10 pm
