1/3 – Sam Parker’s “Eyes on Sunday Night” Friday Night Forecast
Severe weather threat increases in the south before the arctic blast. A weaker cold front passed through earlier this afternoon changing wind directions and will cool down Saturday slightly. Enjoy Saturday with highs in the lower 60s but staying mostly cloudy. There is a small chance for rainfall Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Sunday will warm up in to the 70s in the afternoon but with the warmer temperatures it will help for the stronger thunderstorms Sunday night. STAY WEATHER AWARE SUNDAY NIGHT. We already have a level 2/5 chance for severe weather in south Mississippi with the biggest concerns being strong damaging winds and brief tornadoes. Once the storm passes immediately comes our cold front of the arctic blast. Watching out for lows in the 20s tue-thur.
