Biloxi Police ensures safety precautions for Mardi Gras festivities

With the 12th annual night celebration coming on Sunday, Biloxi Police Department is ensuring the safety of all participants. 

WXXV 25’s Jordyn Lassiter spoke with Biloxi police chief to talk about safety precautions. 

Mardi Gras parades in Biloxi kick off on January 5th, but for many, the usual festive spirit that surrounds Mardi Gras has been replaced by mourning. 

Biloxi police have taken extra precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable Mardi Gras season for Biloxi residents and visitors. 

Police Chief Miller also shared an important safety tip for families attending the parades to keep their celebrations worry-free.
